PROBLEM
The air quality study highlights a significant pollution problem associated with car traffic. Data shows that car traffic causes the highest pollution. Additionally, shared mobility services involve 300 million passengers annually, with 25 million drivers from platforms like Uber, DiDi, and others. This suggests a critical need to address the pollution problem caused by cars and the risk and fear of passengers and drivers contracting bacteria and viruses from one another (e.g., COVID-19).
SOLUTION
The project proposes an air purifier to improve air quality and ensure safety in shared and rental cars by sanitizing the interior environment from pollutants, viruses, and bacteria, protecting passengers and drivers, and allowing passengers to directly monitor the air quality to feel safer.
VALUE DELIVERED
The project introduces a service that revolutionizes shared mobility. Users, guaranteed to always travel in sanitized cars, will be willing to pay more for a premium service like Uber Black. The app allows users to compare sanitation levels between different cars and monitor pollutant levels in real time. Drivers will be incentivized to use Helmo to offer a higher quality service, increasing user trust and satisfaction. Helmo's features are directly integrated into the apps of services like Uber and Lyft, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience.
