PROBLEM
We live in uncertain times with electricity shortages and rising energy poverty. Over 34 million people in Europe are affected, and the EU is reducing domestic energy consumption by 5% during peak hours. In this scenario, we must adapt to managing daily tasks without electricity for certain periods.
SOLUTION
The project, inspired by Danish hygge, proposes modernized oil lamps as a sustainable alternative to candles and electric lights. These lamps offer a safe, eco-friendly solution to the energy crisis, suitable for both shortages and everyday use.
VALUE DELIVERED
Sisun aims to revive the traditional flame with modern oil lamps, creating a calming, personalized ambiance without relying on electricity. By offering an oil refilling service, the brand helps ease the transition to planned blackouts, focusing on mental well-being during times of crisis.
