PROBLEM
Every day in Milan, thousands of retailers visit the wholesale market to stock up on fresh food, leading to traffic congestion, pollution, last-mile delivery issues, and overcrowding at wholesale markets.
SOLUTION
The solution is Twine, a service designed to streamline the supply chain through our intermediary Points of Distribution (PODs) and a new digital marketplace. This approach creates a more efficient network among local producers, wholesalers, and business owners, optimizing the ordering and distribution process.
VALUE DELIVERED
Twine values include shortening the chain by streamlining the supply process, fostering sustainability through environmentally friendly practices, trasparency in communication and operations, and optimization by leveraging technology for enhanced efficiency. These principles guide us in creating a more efficient, sustainable, and transparent food supply network.
